Announcements and Cheers:
Bob Shriner sends a photo of the 2009 USTA Super70s 3.0 doubles champions for the Northern Virginia league. The team will now compete against other Super70s 3.0 doubles teams from leagues in other parts of the Mid-Atlantic region at the USTA sectional tournament in Newport News in September. If no other Mid-Atlantic Super70s 3.0 teams emerge to challenge the Northern Virginia champions at the sectional tournament, they will be the de facto Mid-Atlantic doubles champions for 2009.
Team members (L-r): Charlie Wheeler, Rex Wade (Team Captain), Craig Miller, Craig Zane, Harry Keller, & Bob Shriner. Not pictured: Bob Warakomsky & Tim Foster. Wheeler, Miller, and Shriner are from Warrenton. The other team members are from Fairfax County.
